David J. Grüning is a student & research scientist based in Heidelberg, Germany. His research covers topics of psychology in digital environments, specifically in political contexts.
Most present research directions concern the development of psychologically informed digital interventions (see OneSec), human & machine interactions and factors of machine learning acceptance in digital environments, and emotions in digital political advertisements.
David received his B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Mannheim, Germany, with a concentration in Social & Cognitive Psychology. He spent a period of time at the University of Oslo, focusing on emotion research, and followed an invitation to Brown University to research applied game theory & decision making and gain more teaching experience (Statistics & Social Cognition).
